We are 2 senior couples who be traveling from Billings Montana to Canmore Alberta. We intent to go through Glacier National Park and Waterton National Park on the way, the first week of August. Any suggestions of what to see, where to stop and where to eat?
I'll be staying at the gorge this weekend. Any advice on which park would offer a better experience. Campers will include myself (35) my son (5), my brother (49) and his daughter (11). I understand campgrounds at Colton are first come first serve. Does it fill up?
I am looking for some advice on what area would make the best wedding and honeymoon in Colorado. Durango or Estes Park? I seem to be having a hard time finding places that offer weddings at a very reasonable price for just the 2 of us in the Durango area. Any suggestion? Which area would make the best honeymoon when it comes to things to tour and get out and see? Would like suggestions to add to things to do. Durango- Mesa Verde, train ride to Silverton, Black Canyon, Million Dollar Hwy, Canon Land, Arches National Park? Or Estes Park- RMNP, Red Rocks, Trail Ridge Road, other suggestions please!!! We are thinking of traveling in April and will be staying 4 days. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
We are considering a Princess cruise out of NYC; Princess rep says ship will sail from the Brooklyn terminal at 72 Bowne St. I see there is on-site parking with security for about $20 per night. Any recommendations for secure parking better than the on-site parking?
Is there a shared van or should I take a cab? How much is the cost from SLC airport to Park City Marriott Hotel?

ideas for weekend (Aug 15/16) activities
has any one done the all day tour that starts at the Fort Hayes old west town. Seems like it really covers a lot of sites, wondered if it was really to much to cram into 1 day without really getting to enjoy the sites Mount Rushmore, Custer Park, Sylvan Lake and others
We are from UK. Last year we drove the northern part of the Blue Ridge mountain trail getting to the North Carolina border. We have 8 days mid October and would like to complete the trail as well as see some more of this beautiful region. The challenge is that one of us is coming from Washington and one from New York and we both need to return to New York to fly home. We seem to be able to get reasonable direct flights to Atlanta and wondered if we can do a circular trip from there including the Blue Ridge trail in one direction. Is this doable in 8 days allowing us time to enjoy scenery and at least one 2 night stopover. We don't want to drive interstate and love little quirky towns and accommodation. Is there a better located airport we should try for? Any ideas of routes we could take? Great Smokey mountains? Your recommendations much appreciated.
We are thinking of traveling to Eufaula the first or second week of august. We love to visit all things Historical, Im wanting to know how many days would you need to tour everything Eufaula. Also is there anything more to see that might be close by.
I can't do steps nor a lot of walking due to knee problems. What would be the shortest trail with the least amount of downhill steps?
I was booked at the Westin - Beale St but realized today there is no pool. Family of 4 with 17 and 20 yr old boys. Any suggestion on a different hotel within safe walking distance near the action? I'm thinking of Holiday Inn Select or Doubletree on Union Dr. Would these be OK to walk a few blocks back from Beale St in the evening?
