Hi Katika, I know this mail does not relate to your question. I am on the lookout for someone who is good in photography. I am looking for an assistant photographer preferably a female. If you do come across anyone who is willing to come to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, let me know. We can meet up for a discussion. By the way what do you do? I found your picture very attractive? Cheers!

Nurses definitely! Check out this link. http://www.cmaj.ca/news/31_07_03.shtml There is also a shortage in live in caregivers (nanny, au pair). So much that the Canadian governement gives anybody who has a job lined up as a livein nanny in Canada a 2 year work permit. After the 2 years is up, they are granted permanent resident status. Check out this website newsolutionscanada.com/careg... Good luck!

In the industry I work in (predominantly female), I know we can never get enough travel agents.

Sorry, I don't mean tour guides, but rather travel agents -- the people who book flights and things. As far as I know you don't have to be a Canadian citizen to be a travel agent. I don't know how long-term your plans are. It takes about a 6-month course to become a travel agent, but that's relatively quick compared to a lot of other jobs. I think the entry level salary is about20,000 a year. Don't believe what anyone tells you about it being a dying industry. We will always need people to help clients with their travel arrangements.

A livein caregiver makes between900 -1500 Canadian dollars / month and usually includes room and board and health insurance. Search around the internet, you will probably find organizations that do not charge a fee.

Nurses, doctors and engineers are in severe shortage in Alberta. We can't find enough of them. Not sure about the rest of Canada, but in Alberta and BC, usual starting wage for nurses is about27 / hr (higher in BC I've heard) and immediate job openings everywhere! Engineers start at about20 / hr, and are hired immediatly too. Engineers in private industry don't top out salary, which means the better you are, the more you get paid, and its almost endless. Nurses are regulated by the union, and top out eventually.
