Among the many bookstores in Cambridge, can anyone recommend a unique one? Thanks!
Check out mayafly's page on Cambridge. If the bookstore she recommends is of interest, I believe it's on Church Street, right across the road from the Border Cafe. They have a computer system there which allows them to print out detailed maps from the US Geological Survey.

The Globe Corner Bookstore (http://www.globecorner.com/) in no longer in the location on Church Street. After a number of months with no physical store, it has re-opened, still in Harvard Square, at 90 Mt. Auburn St. If you have any interest in travel, this is a must see for guidebooks, maps, and coffee table books with beautiful travel-related photographs. Also in Harvard Square, we highly recommend the Harvard Bookstore (not the same as the Harvard Coop). It has a huge selection of new books on the first floor and larger (at least it seems) selection of used books at very reasonable prices in the basement. Enjoy! Sarah
