Transportation from Puno ( Peru) to Calama

From Puno, what is the most time efficient way to get to calama? I can't pass Bolivia ( can't get a visa). Can I fly/take bus? Is there any tour of calama that originates from Peru side? Thanks!

    I was in Puno and Calama, there's Bolivian consulate in Puno, you can try to get visa there to see what they tell you. Anyway, I think the only option you have is to go to Tacna and there go to Arica (Chile) and from Arica you have bus to Calama, San Pedro de Atacama and Argentina. But I warn you that Calama is a horrible city, go, see the mine, and leave!
