Hi...If someone could help me with this very basic question--I would really appreciate it. I am trying to dial a "short number" in Egypt from the US--19012. For the life of me, I cannot seem to dial it right. Can someone describe the sequence of numbers that I would need to dial? I tried "011-20-2-002-19012" but kept getting a busy signal. TIA!! --chris
i think it is not possible i dont know how u call from america but try dialling what so ever u need to dial internationally then put 20-19012 try it

What I am aware when I was last in Egypt last year) short code only works in Egypt and if what call that short number then you need get full number from Egypt. I will give you an idea) 19920 is I think Cairo airport Taxi) you can not call 00202 19920 It will not work.

It's definitely not possible. Short numbers are country exclusive. You should look for the equivalent 'normal number' to dial from the US.

add 00202 before any land number in egypt or 002 before any mobil number
