Cheap cheap way to get to cairo from spain/italy/tunis

I will be backpacking in Spain/Italy and other various places this winter and would like to go to Cairo, but I am having trouble finding an easy cheap way to get there. FLights may be out of my budget350+USD. I thought about trying to take a ferry to Tunis and then taking a train or a bus to cairo but Lybia may be a problem to pass thru with no visa. Any help will be welcomed. Thanks
