Re: CDO-Camiguin Feb 1- 3
Depending on your rafting company, there is a morning and afternoon schedule and would take around 3 hours (depending on the rapids). Right now it costs around 700 Pesos per person excluding the Macahambus Adventure Park. I suggest you hire Kagay or 1st Rafting Adventure since they co-manage Macahambus, therefore they can give you a package discount for rafting and the canopy walk.
Regarding Camiguin, there is now a fast craft service direct CDO to Camiguin. It is owned and operated by Paras Beach Resort (tel. no. 88-8568562). Monday to Thursday, 8am cdo to camiguin and 4pm camiguin to cdo. Friday to Sunday, 8am and 1pm cdo to camiguin, 10.30am and 4pm camiguin to cdo. Fare is 500 economy class, 700 tourist. They have a promo fare right now. Not sure if this schedule will be the same by the time you arrive. You can also take the regular bus and ferry (in Balingoan wharf) route.
CDO then Camiguin or Camiguin then CDO? Really depends on your schedule. I usually suggest that people stay in CDO either Friday or Saturday to experience the Night Cafe and Market. Sunday is a boring day in CDO. Rafting in CDO on Friday, Camiguin on Saturday and Sunday or Camiguin on Thursday and Friday then CDO on Saturday and Sunday.
