Where to park when living in Cadiz?

We are going to Cadiz for two weeks this August and have hired a car for the duration but have no idea where we can park it cheaply and safely. Our appartment is in the old town. Any ideas?

    Parking at busy times can be a pain. There is an underground parking garage opposite the port but unsure what the longer term cost is. There is a park at the rail station which is not too far from the old town. Maybe head for the tourist office and check out current situation.
