I was wondering whether or not to get the insurance offered from Budget rental? My credit card company will cover any loss but only if I decline all other insurance. I hear that the insurance offered by the rental car company is not as good as the credit card company. Has anyone had a loss and had problems?
Is it a real guarantee? You want to take rental insurance....You really do NOT want the headache of paying out of pocket for a car you don't own. Especially a beat-up hoopty that was a dump when you got it "ESPECIALLY" with roads that are not forgiving to cars. Insurance is the way to go anywhere you travel just be sure to ask all the questions, read the fine print and thoroughly inspect the vehicle. Another thing...you want to leave your vacation with a memorable imprint an that includes walking out of a car rental place by simply returning the keys no questions asked. 50-60us$ is not bad compare to 23,000 for a car you pay and do not keep. ask your credit card company. Good Luck And Happy travels!
