Are there maps for hiking available? Are there loops (hiking) possible? Are there marked paths? Do I really need a compass there?
Hi, I searched on the web especially in Turkish web sites and cannot find any maps for hiking in Uludag and Kazdagi. I have been to both places and think you may need a compass especially in Kazdagi . But there is a Turkish site about the region and you can contact with them. The mail address is "bilgi@kazdahlari.com" .They also provide local guides for designated routes for 40TL ( 27$)

The easy way is to rent a daily car .Good luck more
