Working in Bursa

by beccabeth27 Online Now Mar 19, 2005 at 2:54 PM

Hey all-

I was wondering how difficult it might be to find a job in Bursa, like in ESL or private english tutoring or something. Is it in high demand or will i get there and not find any employment? And is it the kind of place you'd really want to work for a few months?
Thanks
becky

    Hi
good advice from Mert. If you have got a degree in English and /or a TEFL qualification the private schools will be interested in you.. You could look at TED Bursa, as I know they have been advertising recently for native speakers. Ther website is: www.tedbursa.k12.tr, but it is in Turkish.

Bursa is a nice place, lovely old town centre, but also lots of new bits, you will not want for western comforts! and some great shopping. Also if you are there over winter the mountain is on your doorstep for skiing.

    Go for it!
    and good luck!
