Any info on Yaw region?

In Monywa I met someone from Gantgaw and he said that there's direct bus from Mandalay to Gantgaw, Yaw region in Magway division. This region is famous for its longyi and its distinct Burmese dialect. And that's all information on this region I could find on the internet, no picture.

Anyone has more info on this region? Is it worth visiting?

Not so much, you will definitely see villages and small town... If you want to see how they make Yaw Longyi then you can visit there.
Are you in already in Burma or oversea? Because it makes a lot of different. If you are residing in Burma and wanted to explore new area because of holidays then you can go and take a look. If you are coming from oversea then there are others places that you should visit instead of Yaw...
