I'm attending a wedding in Burlington at the end of May. I'll have a full day of nothing to do the day before the wedding and was wondering if anyone can recommend a couple of must-see sites while I'm there.
I wouldn't say there are many "must see" sites but you might want to check out Red Rocks, if you are into hiking, or North Beach. On nice days both are beautiful and can be good for taking up time...Also just walking around downtown Burlington, primarily Church Street is fun..Some restaurants to check out are Sweet Waters for a nice dinner, Vermont Pub and Brewery, if you're into hamburgers and beer, The Red Onion for a really good sandwich, and Ben and Jerry's for ice cream of course. If you like shopping you can occupy yourself all day...I would also reccomend a walk along the waterfront, it's really nice. ~Ali
