hello everybody! i read about feb and march that there are strong winds which bring dust from the desert. could you tell how often and serious this is? it can make your visit worthless for seeing and taking good photos? many thanks nikos
Hi Nikos, I was in Burkina in February 2007 and the winds were o.k., the wind is the the Harmattan and it brings small particles of sand down from the Sahara. I didn't have too much trouble with the sand at all. Have a look at the pics on my Burkina pages to see how they turned out. Best of luck
