Anybody know where does the Rhapsody of the Seas (RCI) docks in Bunbury on 14 Mar ? How far is it to places of interests ? Thanks
The website says it is 2 km from the town centre and you can walk: australiassouthwest.com/en/I... http://www.byport.com.au/ No public bus, only shuttle buses and taxis. On this website you can check out possible activities: visitbunbury.com.au/en/defau...

The cruise ship will dock in the outer harbour, there is a bit of contention with the Bunbury shire in that it charges exorbitant fees for passengers. The walk takes approxiamately 7km and the shire is charging7 per passenger per one way trip. I don't think this will change before the rhapsody comes in. Now i do know that the ship offers offshore activities, ie the dolphin centre etc at double the prices of what we locals pay. If you wish to do these kind of tours try visiting the dolphin centres site and book ahead - dolphins.mysouthwest.com.au/... If you can give me an idea of what the cruise line is offering then I can assist more, we do have a charter bus service that offers tours for the cruises but honestly i doubt you would see much and would spend more time travelling to places like Margaret River. Sounds like Margret River is too much of a reach, how about Brusselton from the ship and back. We vare on the same cruise.
