Blackberry -Costs of Internet access- Wi FI

Hi all, I will be travelling to Bulgaria in May but i need Internet Access while there. In S.Africa if you buy a blackberry you can use the internet free. Is this the same in Bulgaria or would I need to purchase Data ( Internet )to be able to connect > Please help .. thanks for now
