i'm plannig to travel to sofia by car. can anyone reccomend me a safe parking spot, maybe a public parking garage or smt???
in new orleans? your best bet is to park it in a garage. no gaurantee it won't be broken into their either. If you're going to be around the quarter, I'd try the DH Holmes building. prices are cheap in the summer.

It would help if you specify an area in Sofia. There are plenty of paid (and guarded) parking lots.

well don't know exactly yet, i will be travelling to blagoevgrad and further to greece and would like to spend a day or two in sofia. i just heard that i have enormous chanses that my car will be stolen in sofia :((

Well, I personally leave my car in a guarded parking. There are many of them in the residential areas, the price is around 5 leva (2.5 euro) per night. In the center, just underneath the National Palace of Culture, there is a large underground garage where you can leave your car overnight or for just a couple of hours, it's much more expensive though. If you're staying at a nice hotel, they might have their own parking as well. Hope that helps and enjoy your time in Sofia.
