hi, 've checked the NFTA site for buses and there is no direct line between buffalo airport to niagara :-(
so ... I think i have to take a bus to buffalo downtown and then another to niagara.
well ... I'll land at 8.08 a.m. ... how can I reach Buffalo downton ??? It seemes that the first bus (#204) is at 9.32 ????

Could any one tell me the most economical way to travel from Buffalo airport to Niagara Falls (Canada side). We are a family of two adults and two children (11 & 14). We will be travelling in December so not sure about driving conditions. As we are coming from Australia we don't drive in snow or ice conditions at all. I have read that taxi services are quite expensive. Is there any bus services that go across the border at all? Whats the most economical option?

hi, our family friends and us (an entourage of 14) want to stay for two days near Buffalo while on our way to Chicago. we are interested in canoeing and kayaking in a state park area or a natural scenic area. Allegany state park is out because they only have pedal boats. is there any park or area you know that may have canoe and kayak rentals?

Hi All! My wife and I are planning to visit the Niagara Falls next weekend and are searching for a cheap hotel/motel/B&B/hostel in the Buffalo area. We have a car so even if it is a bit far from Buffalo/the falls themselves then also its fine. Could anyone please suggest something in the range of 40-50 dollars per night? Thanks a lot! TT!

Where can i buy a Physical copy of a buffalo map. Ie like a street directory or fold out map. Please do not direct me to Google maps. I NEED IT TO BE PHYSICAL . I want to visit Niagara Falls. I will be in New Orleans and the plan is to fly to New York ($100) and take an organised bus tour the next day to the Falls. The tour costs108 including overnight in a hotel. But, I found a flight from New Orleans to Buffalo for about100. 1)Do you think this is a good idea or I will spend a fortune for cabs and hotel? 2)Should we stay in Buffalo or somewhere near the falls? 3)how far are the falls from Buffalo? 4)after the falls I have to return to NY anyway it seems much more complicated this way. k.

I will be visiting pittsburgh, PA next month and I have a friend that lives in buffalo ny (about 3.5 hours) away. She doesn't own a car. Whats the cheapest way to get from buffalo to pittsburgh and back? Is there a train or daily bus or something? Any other options besides getting a rental car?

The problem is, that I don't know how to get from buffalo to the military road by bus. Could I catch a bus next to the coach terminal ? Do you know which one I have to take ?! We are travelling to Buffalo for the Bills/Jets game this weekend. I have a few questions. We are staying at the Hampton Inn on Ridge Road in West Seneca. Is there any way to get to the stadium without driving? Is there maybe a shuttle or something? Also, I get the feeling we are in the middle of nowhere. I am planning a trip to the North East USA and Canada and wonder if you can help me out. What I would like to do is get from Washington DC to Toronto via the Niagara Falls. My initial idea is to fly from DC to Buffalo and then somehow get to the Falls, spend some time there before continuing on to Toronto. I am trying to do this trip on a tight budget so probably looking to travel by train or coach. Can anyone tell me if this is practical and if so how I can do it? Thanks Cathy

Hello friends. I getting to the Buffalo Airport in July. Our plan is to visit the Niagara Falls and then Canada for a few days. In detail, we would like to get to Canada, rent a car to leave in Montreal later, and visit the Niagara falls traveling with our car. We think that getting a car in the Buffalo Airport and leave it in Canada would be rather expensive. So, do you have any suggestion? I do not know which is, for instance, the best way to go to a place where I can rent a car in Canada from the Buffalo airport. Looking at the area map it seems that getting to St. Catherine or Hamilton could be quicker than getting to Toronto. Do you know if it is possible? Thanks for any suggestion. Stefano

I'm going to be getting in to buffalo airport just before midnight and can't decide whether to take the bus directly to Toronto or to spend the night as I would be getting to Toronto at an awful hour in the morning when no one would come pick me up! anyways I was wondering if there was any truly budget accomodation that had single rooms. I plan on crossing into Buffalo on New Years Day from Canada for the Winter Classic game. Does anyone have an idea how long it will take crossing the border? I'm worried that since it's a holiday it may take longer than it normally would.

We have 3 hours to wait on a Saturday before boarding our Amtrak train and would like to have a leisurely lunch near the station. Google shows Kelly & Co. virtually across the street. Can anyone comment as to what type of restaurant it is? Can we "lug our luggage" from the restaurant to the Amtrak station? A bit further away is Skaros Family Restaurant on Walden Avenue and St. Angelos and Hearthstone manor on Dick Road. Comments or alternative suggestions please?

Hi, My girlfriend and I will be visiting Buffalo, NY next weekend (August 24-25) for 2 nights and will be staying at the Hyatt downtown. We will be driving to shop at the Walden Galleria, Niagara Outlets, Prime Outlets (Grove City), going to Darien Lake Theme Park, and then heading to Niagara Falls for the next 2 nights. What are some nearby places (around the hotel) to visit during the day/night and good places to eat? Also, is the areas (walking distance) around the hotel safe during the day or night? Thanks!
