Gellert Baths is a bath complex, built in the Secession Art Nouveau style. Even if you don’t like too much spa and wellness, its architecture is wonderful! Trust me… I’m an architect If you don’t trust me because I’m an architect, here there are some pictures about this place: google.it/search?q=budapest+...

If you're interested in great museums, I would suggest the National Hungarian Museum and if you're curious to know the country's communist past, I would suggest a visit at Terror House. Whatever you choose, have a nice time there!

Hi So much to see, so little time! Just wandering around Budapest is a treat, particularly if you're a fan of Art Deco. I would agree about the Gellert Baths being wonderful, and would also highly recommend the Budapest Zoo (probably the only place in the world where you'll come across an Art Deco elephant house)! We also enjoyed Memento Park, which is where many of the Socialist realist statues and artwork from the Communist era has been rehoused - this is a little outside the centre, but easy to get to by bus. I find VT member antistar's Budapest page particularly good - he lived there for a couple of years, and his tips are well worth checking out. Just in case you don't know how to find this page, then type Budapest into the blue box in the top right hand corner of the screen and press the 'Go' icon. This contains literally thousands of tips on Budapest - he is one of the Top 5 writers featured towards the bottom of the page on the right hand side. Enjoy - it's one of my absolute favourite cities! Regards Cathy
