Please Help! Visiting in early April

by reefdude Online Now Apr 3, 2006 at 9:14 AM

Hi all,

My wife and I will be visitng the week of April 10th. Just wondering if we need to pre-book lodging, or is it possible to find vacancies easily this time of year? We're not looking for anything fancy/specific, just a place to stay. Our plan is Zion-Bryce-Monument Valley and will probably stay around Bryce or Torrey, and Mexican Hat or Kayenta. Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Staying around Zion shouldn't be a problem, just look up hotel/motels in Springdale, UT. The Zion N.P. Lodge may be full but it would be a great location.

As to Bryce we always stay at the Stone Canyon Inn in Tropic a really nice B&B.
Not inexpensive but only about 12 miles outside the park. Again. the Lodge is in the park but getting a room on short notice might be difficult.

Sorry, not familiar with Monument Valley.
