Brussels to cities in France (travel) MSM, Giverny, Versailles?

Looking for help traveling from Brussels to 3/4 areas of France for a week. I need a city central to three areas of visitation. MSM (Mont saint Michel) Giverny and Versailles or possibly Rouen, France. Any experienced VT travelers who have done this please advise. I can rent a car in France after getting there. Thinking of train from Brussels to that central city. Thanks in advance. LarryN
