Transport to Eurmeet in May involves a 40 minute stopover in Brussels airport. Arrive B-Gates and depart from A-Gates. This involves passport control out of B-gates and security check into A-gates. On a Brussels airport transfer map I've spotted a sneaky 'fast lane'logo, so a couple of questions... If I sit at the front of the first plane to minimise disembarking time, how realistic is 40 mins transfer? How do I get into the fast lane in security check into A-gates?
fast lane is a preregister thingy, to avoid check ups for security. Part of the new wave of security measures. I guess you can go to airport and get register ,I have never done it. 40 mins seems tight I always get 1h30 transfers. But not saying cannot be done if on same airline. hope it helps

In my experience the airport is a very efficient machine here...I should imagine if they think they can transport yours (and everyone elses) luggage in that time to many different flights that you can make it from B to A in that time...no messing about and no dawdling! issuu.com/brusselsairport/do...
