Hi, Im supposed to be meeting a friend who is getting either the Eurostar or Thalys train into Midi station, at the Thalys meeting point in MIdi Station. Im a little bit scared Ill get lost. Ill be travelling from Noord station to Midi and don't know the station at all as it is my first time in Belgium. Is it quite easy to find? Does anyone know of anything I can look out for that will let me know Im in the right place.?

anxiety about these minimal things is understandable, but also completely superfluous. ANY big station has infodesks-with multi lingual staff (you can bet on that in Brussels-the European capital) that always will be able to point you the way and help you out. Some people even misuse the special service of transporting handicapped people. And there are maps and thousands of other people who know that station most willing to help and it is not exactly in some far away hidden spot. All major European stations have a common ''pictogram'' indicator to those places-so that even language difficulties should be minimal.
