4E Posts: 1 First: 7/22/2008 Last: 7/22/2008 anyone knows where's the Thalys offic at the Gare du Nord to buy the tourist price ticket Paris to Brusselsfor the departure day? is it feasible? ANyone knows the platform number? how far (how many minutes) is it from the Thalys office walk to the platform? Thank u
I'm not sure what the figures are at the top of your post here, but I hope you are not expecting to go from Paris to Brussels for 4 euros. The cheapest price I could find was 54 euros. If you purchase on the day of travel, it's likely to be more . . . depending on when you are going. http://www.voyages-sncf.com/

thalys.com/fr/en/offers-and-... I found a 29 euro fare here. Sounds pretty good but it is nonrefundable and must be purchased 2 days before leaving. Good luck.

There is no "Thalys Office" at Gare du Nord. Tickets for Thalys are sold at the normal SNCF ticket window at any major train station, and at many travel agents. You can also buy them from the ticket vending machines at the station, which saves you queuing up at the ticket window. At Gare Du Nord it is only a few meters from the ticket windows to the platforms (you can actually see the trains). The Thalys usually leaves from platform 7 or 8. For the cheap tickets however you have to book well in advance. It is better to book these online now. See www.thalys.com If you don't mind paying full price you can just buy a ticket at the station and hop on the next train.
