Hello! Does any one know of a nice, not too expensive B&B in Brugge? Thanks! Ellie

I had a very good experience in Brugge. Monique, the owner of the B&B I was staying at met me as arranged at the train station. An extraordinarily kind person, she also took a couple that I had met on the train to their hotel despite road works requiring a long detour. Also very good reviews on Trip Advisor. A few minutes pleasant stroll from Grote Market, Burg Square and the centre of town. Located on a narrow residential street it is quiet and pleasant. It is an entire duplex flat, the stairs are steep and narrow. Very large but somewhat overloaded with 'knick-knacks". A bit kitchy for my taste, but not displeasing. The kitchen is fully supplied. The bathroom location a bit awkward for more than a single person. One must close off half the flat to have any privacy. The bed is a large double and comfortable, there is also a single bed in the opposite corner. The bedroom is large and pleasing with a skylight and open wooden rafters. Good strong private lights for each side of the bed. Clock radio provided. Very clean and well kept. The owner is a very friendly and helpful person. She is willing to pick up visitors at the train station. One can take the flat with or without breakfast. Phone: + 32(0)50 34 59 59 Address: Schrijversstraat 7 Directions: Walking distance Ezelpoort Gate. Website: hotel-base.com/en/178684/gas... NOTE: The photo on this site is NOT the Gastenkamer Monique den Hert! Other Contact: Email: monique.denhert@skynet.be Map: intellitravel.eu/be/brugge/b...
