Can anyone recommend a good restaurant for lunch near Brooklyn Promenade? I will be going there Labor Day weekend.
You will love River Cafe, little be$, but worth it. Enjoy! Reservations needed.

Unfortunately the Promenade is in a mostly residential neighborhood, really no restaurants right there. As mentioned above, the River Cafe, but it is a place to get dressed up and splurge, so i don't know if that is what you might have in mind. I can recommend something entirely on the opposite end of the spectrum, a small, local NYC pizza place- no atmosphere but good prices and excellent pizzas. It's Fascati pizza, 80 Henry St, between Orange & Pineapple St, about a 5 min walk from the Promenade.
