I'll be traveling from Brive-la-Gaillarde to Charles de Gaulle on July 27. There doesn't appear to be a nonstop TGV on that day, so we're talking 6-7 hours on the train. Should I drive to Toulouse and fly? If I choose to fly from Brive to Orly, how much time (and money) will it take me to get over to CDG? Thanks in advance.
The on line timetable only shows trains up to 90 days in advance ie within the reservation window. That's why July isn't visible yet. The current printed timetable has these trains from Brive to Paris on weekdays 0439 arrive Paris Austerlitz 0847 0636 arrive CDG 1131 TGV 0745 arrive Austerlitz 1151 0930 arrive Austerlitz 1340 1341 arrive Austerlitz 1740 1438 arrive Austerlitz 1841 1617 srrive Austerlitz 2040 1804 arrive Austerlitz 2221 1907 arrive Austerlitz 2325 There may be detail changes when the summer timetable comes into force in mid-July. Reservations and therefore confirmed timings should be available at the end of April. Do you know that there are three weekday flights between the new Brive airport and Paris Orly? aeroport-brive-vallee-dordog... I hope that helps.

They just don't have July up yet on the web site. Use the same day (Tuesday, I think) in January and see what is on offer. There appear to be quite a few choices and the TGV is amongst them. You may find some helpful information at voyages-sncf.com/leisure/en/... If you can drive to Toulouse, can you drive to CDG? Just curious. I'd take the train if possible. Enjoy your trip.
