Sailing in BVI during July

I'm planning on chartering a bareboat in the BVI for a week some time between mid July to early August. I saw that it's apparently low season during that time, which is good for prices, but I am concerned about what the sailing conditions and the weather will be then. Will it be hurricane season already ?

    Personally I LOVE July and August in the BVI because there are not as many tourist.

    The BVI is one of the finest sailing territories anywhere. Sailing conditions during July - Especially great for the beginner. Not as challenging as other times of the year.

    Weather - you might have an occasional rain shower, but the sun will be out shortly there after.

    Hurricane Season - from aoml.noaa.gov/hrd/tcfaq/G1.h... "The Atlantic hurricane season is officially from 1 June to 30 November."
