How do I get a visa?

I plan to travel to Bristol for a year in order to volunteer my interpreting services to 2 deaf students on exchange. how do i do that? what is the limit on travel visas? can i get a work visa if i'm not getting paid?

    Hi This is the government website. It may be able to answer some of your questions? It may be easier contacting your local British Consulate and asking their advice if you wish to go the legal route. http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk Regards Alan
