Hi, You will find the buses in Brighton to be pretty good normally, see www.buses.co.uk for timetables and routes. As far as getting out of Brighton to other big cities then the train is fine (although some of them are quite old). London is only around 1hr away by train. You can get trains along the coast to Southampton easily too. Hope it helps Andrew
