I'll be visiting my daughter who lives near Vechta over Christmas . I'll be flying into Bremen, what's the easiest form of transport to get from Bremen to Vechta?
Tram 6 from Bremen Flughafen/Airport to Hauptbahnhof/Central Station. Then NordWestBahn to Vechta Bahnhof. NordWestBahn leaves Hauptbahnhof hourly, 15:22, 16:22 and so on ..., the trip takes about an hour, from airport to Hauptbahnhof about 15 minutes. Get your ticket at Hauptbahnhof (DB sells them too) - do NOT try to purchase your ticket on the train. I wholeheartedly suggest to get off the Tram at Domsheide to see Schnoor Quarter, Marktplatz and Boetcherstrasse. Those are all within walking distance and it would be shame to miss those spots.
