Does any one know of a way of getting to Courmayeur from Bourg St Maurice at the beginning of April this year? My daughter has to meet me there with all her baggage from the past five months, and apart from catching a bus then skiing (which would be impossible with her gear) I can't seem to find a way across! Thanks
Thank you for the reply! Is there a bus? She could take that, but what she can't do is ski the rest of the way from La Tuile! But I think you're right..... taxi might be the only option! Julie

Sorry, that will not work : in April, the Col du Petit Saint Bernard is certainly closed. Then she will have to go to Chamonix by the tunnel. May be there is a bus. I will check that later. From Bourg St Maurice to Chamonix, to collect her, I am afraid that the best choice will be to rent a car. I will check later too if there is another option.

I have found that there are busses three times a day from Courmayeur to Chamonix Courmayeur 9 :40 Chamonix 10 :25 Courmayeur 13 :00 Chamonix 13 :45 Courmayeur 17 :15 Chamonix 18 :00 Look at : chamonix.com/page.php?page=5... From Chamonix, there are several buses to Geneva airport. There is only one train connection from Chamonix to Chambéry (that you can reach easily from Bourg St Maurice) and she would have to change train in Le Fayet : Chamonix 19h39 St Gervais Les Bains Le Fayet 20h20 St Gervais Les Bains Le Fayet 20h50 Chambery 23h37 That will not be very convenient with all her luggage. Then I am afraid the best would be for you to meet her at Geneva airport.

Hello, If she can take a train or bus or transfer van to Chamonix, there are daily departures to Courmayeur from the SAT bus at the bus station in Chamonix. Their website is http://www.sat-montblanc.com/ for hours and prices.
