Boulogne and Boulogne-sur-Mer are two different cities in two completely different parts of France. (Think Springfied, Massachusetts and Springfield, Illinois . . . a thousand miles apart with the same name.) Boulogne-sur-Mer is in the very northern part of France near Calais. I was searching for a restaurant a few weeks ago and a fellow VTer suggested I write to the mayor and ask about it. I did and received a reply within 24 hours. My restaurant had gone out of business so no one could find it . . . including me, but the mayor remembered it and told me they had been out of business for a while.
