Fastest way from Revere beach to Concord

I would like to know how long it would take me, by public transport, to travel from the (Blue line) station at Revere Beach, to Concord? I have been told that it could take half a day, yes/no? I realise that I have to change to the commuter train at North station direction Fitsburg. Many thanks.
