There are a number of hotels nearby, none of them particularly cheap. Obviously, prices will vary depending on the dates you wish to stay, and the hotel with the "best deal" will also vary. The hotel reviews here on VT, as well as sister site TripAdvisor, can also help you make up your mind which hotel is right for you.

To find the best prices for a given set of dates, you can go to a travel website such as Expedia, Kayak, or Priceline, and do a search for the lowest price. Many sites have a map feature, which lets you see how far away the various hotels are from your desired location.

    Enjoy your trip!

There are many hotels in the immediate area. The closest are the Boston Harbor Hotel, Marriott Long Wharf, Harborside Inn, Hilton Financial District and Marriott Custom House.

The cheapest is likely to be the Harborsde Inn, followed by the Hilton Financial District.

I stayed at the harbor side inn which was one of the cheaper hotels in downtown Boston, and yet was a very nice hotel. It's within a few blocks of the aquarium..
