Hello, I'm traveling to Tanjung Puting NP (in Borneo) to hang out with the wild orangutans for a few days at Camp Leaky (Dec 16-19, 2007). Since traveling alone is no fun, I'm looking for someone else who might want to go. The price for a three day stay gets cheaper, the more people you have. Steve, I would love to hear of your adventures - I am traveling alone to Tanjung Puting as well. I plan to arrive in Pangkalan bun between Dec 31st and Jan 3rd and will fly out of Pangkalan Bun on Jan 11th. If your plans change or you meet anyone who would like to share costs at this time please pass on my email address to them. Someone posted a recommendation for a guide named Sujono. He has a klotok (which you could sleep on) which is much cheaper than finding accomodations at Rimba lodge.
