I am travelling from London to Bordeaux in August by train. As I have 3 children in my party, should I change at Lille or Paris ? Lille seems to easiest way as I would only have to change platforms for the TGV. However, it seems that if I change in Paris, the overall train journey is a lot quicker. Has anyone
I have taken the train from Paris to Bordeaux. I believe it is a high speed train. I don't know if you have to travel the same way roundtrip, but every train I have ever taken into Paris has been crowded. Two out of the three times I have traveled into Paris the train I wanted to buy tickets for was sold out. If you have children with you, I would imagine that it would be easier to change change in a less crowded train station. And in Paris it is chaos at every train station. Bon voyage, Mike D
