I was on Boracay about three months ago so hopefully this information is still reasonably current. My initial tip is from Kalibo airport to Caticlan. Here it is. "In and out quickly." - Kalibo Transportation Tip by planxty I did not pay an airport fee at Kalibo, I had already paid a departure fee at Manila. I will go and check my receipts later but I believe the bus was about 300 pesos, 90 minutes duration and pretty comfortable. The conductor of the bus will organise your tickets at Caticlan. Is your budget for hotel 5000 a night? If so, I am sorry I cannot help, that is way out of my price range. If you are looking for any further information, please feel free to contact me. Hope this assists, fergy.

We were just in Boracay in January, so my prices will be recent' Ferry Boat - 25 Pesos Environment Fee - 75 Pesos Terminal Fee - 50 Pesos Luggage Porter 20 Pesos per item Airport Terminal Fee - 200 Pesos We stayed in Station 2, but we did go to a nice Hotel/Restaurant in Station 1. It was the Astoria which was right on the beach and had a very nice swimming pool. You may want to look into that Hotel. I have no idea what it costs to stay there.

Oh, the Astoria is a little high. The poster's budget is 5000 pesos. I am sure tho that he can find something nice in that price range. Our hotel was the Best Western Boracay. It was about 3000 pesos per night, was centrally located in Station 2, was a five minute walk to the beach, had a beautiful swimming pool and breakfast buffet was included.

i've read somewhere that in front of astoria are boats docked on the beach and it is not a very pleasant view, is it right?

How about White House in station 1, your view would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Best Western Tropics is not in a great location. It's on the noisy, polluted main road between stations 2 and 3 and has big problems with flooding on the road from there to the beach. White House is very nice and has a great view. A few small boats docked offshore doesn't spoil it.
