Area on where to stay...

by Sobe-A-Rush Online Now Sep 17, 2008 at 12:30 AM

From reading online a little bit i understand station 3 is the more quiet area of the island? Where abouts on station 3 should i look? My budget is 2-3K pesos per night, preferably closer to 2. Should i just head down with out booking a place and i will find something on the beach no problem? Any suggestions...?

Try Roys, Orchids, Daves Straw Hat, Marzon Arawana and Blue Corral..the first three are less expensive.

I like that area because it is less hectic - no thumping music till 3am and fewer vendors. It is often described as the "old Boracay". There's a good hotel guide and area map here: myboracayguide.com/accomodat... South of the boat station is the quiet zone. I'd recommend Dave's Straw Hat, Orchids, Marzon, Blue Mango & Island Jewel Inn on your budget.

Yes it's low season, so it's up to you if choose to book with an agent or not. It's easy to get a room without doing so.

Hello boredoffboracay, i'm not connected with any of the resorts in boracay, its such that it is my passion to know the rates of different resorts in whatever place i would go. becuase it is my top priority to have a budget friendly get away whenever i go to different places. i always think that it is not that expensive to go to any place that you wish as long as you do some research. so whatever information that i have, i always share them to other people so that they will have a budget friendly get away without compromising the fun, excitement and the relaxion. =) i hope i helped you with the posting. by the way, i personally spent 7k for 5 days and 4 nights in boracay when we went there last november of 2006. this includes all fares (except airfare) from manila to boracay, food, accomodation, pasalubong and a little bit of bar hopping, banana boat, island hopping and snorkling. so your budget will should go along with what you would like to experience in boracay. enjoy your trip! =)
