I am not sure if I need to take a taxi to my hotel or whether I can walk from Boppard raiway station. It is the hotel Rheinlust near the autofähre. It looks fairly close on the map but I can't see how to cross the main road by the station. Thank you.
Google maps is your friend. Just switch to hybrid view. The station underpass seems to extend to the other side of the main road (which looks to be elevated in that part) so you don't have to worry about crossing it. Anyway, railway stations in Germany usually have good pedestrian access. If there is a major road in front of a station there will be a way to cross it.

Thank you for the tip. I have looked at the hybrid (photographic and route) map and my route has now become much clearer!
