Hello One more Bonaire related question. I want to take either the yellow or green driving routes/tours in the Washington-Slagbaai National Park, should I have a 4 wheel drive vehicle ? I will already have a regular car for the week and was just curious if I will have to rent a different vehicle just to visit the park. Thanks ldilauro **** 1 week and counting **** Bonaire here I come ***

you don't need a 4wd. i rented a small toyota and have no problem.

Back from Bonaire and had a wonderful time. We did rent a 4-wheel drive SUV for the tour of the park and we were glad we did. I would say 100% that a vehicle with high under carriage clearance is the best choice for the long route. There were places on the long route where we would have had SERIOUS concerns / issues with a regular car. Full Trip report to follow by the end of the month. Lori
