We are planning a trip to Bocas del Toro. Has anyone taken the train from Panama City to Colon? How do we get from Colon to Bocas del Toro?
Hello, spunkydeb, Bocas del toro and colon are in two different locations, colon is on the north and bocas is on the west. there is no transportation between these two places ! take the train one day, and the other day take the flight (or drive) to bocas. for the train I recomend the morning ride, 7am, and have some vehicle waiting for you on the caribean side (colon), once here visit, portobelo or sanlorenzo, gatun locks. thanks
