Does anyone have a recommendation other than Johannesburg to fly in to for a stay in Hazyview.?
Hi, I am goin to Joburg for the first time. Iwould like to know wheter it is necessary to have a rental car or not? Since I would like to go to Lion Park, Sun City, Monte Casino etc and I do not know if those places are all close to each other and you could just get a hotel close by or if it would make more sense to get a car. Alternatively how does the purblic transport in Joburg work.? Does it reach a lot of places or only certain places? Is it save?

Hi We are a party of eight (two sprightly couples in their 70s plus a family of four with kids aged 8 and 5) looking for two nights accommodation in or around Bloem for the nights of 5th and 6th January 2012, which is proving to be surprisingly hard to find. Ideally we would prefer self catering, but otherwise affordable B&B or family-friendly hotel accommodation would be fine. We have our own transport, so we don't necessarily need to be in the city - we would also consider something in the Kimberly vicinity, although this wouldn't be first choice. Any ideas? Regards Cathy
