Is it possible to travel to and from Girona Airport to Blanes by train and if so how often do they run and is the station far from the airport
You know there is a bus from Girona Airport to Blanes (takes about 1 hour)? spanish-fiestas.com/barcelon... Apart from the Ryanair bus you can also get a bus to Llanes and change there VT Forum temporarily unavailable There is no train station at Girona Airport, so you would have to go into Girona first, from there it's about 35 minutes by RENFE Rodalies train to Blanes - I didn't get anything when clicking on regionals renfe here http://www.blanes.net/mobilitat, but I believe you have to change at Maçanet/Maçannes See also publiblanes.net/Movilidad_de...

You can take a direct bus from Girona airport (GRO) to Blanes, it tooks 35 min: sagales.com/Data/Files/125_A... Otherwise, you should take the bus from GRO to Girona (20 minutes), and from there a train to Blanes. I don't know the details for this, but it not make much sense anyway.

I'd take the bus direct from the airport. We took a train from Malgrat to Girona and were stranded at Macanet for about an hour before our connection came. If you don't fancy the ryanair bus, do a google search for airport coach transfers as there will be several companies working this route.
