Hello, I would like to know how far is from Blagaj town centre to Derwish Monastery. Is it an easy walk?

It looks an amazing place, but remember to dress modestly, no shorts. The monastery seems to be by the river and on the outskirts of town but difficult to estimate the distance and time of walk when i googled it, but certainly looks less than an hour!

It's not more than 15 minutes walk. Also, there is a parking only few hundreds meters from the place. Anyway it's not hard walk and you will enjoy it. Have a nice day!

As you walk, about one kilometer from that site is a very interesting complex of homes and ancient mills to your right down an all-stone walkway. Even the walls are stone. Go down there and a young man will give you a delightful tour of his ancestral family home that has been in family for 600 years.
