nightlife on a wednesday around blackpool

Hi,im thinking of taking my partner to blackpool for the night on valentines day,could any one please tell me what the night life is like on a wednesday night in blackpool,were not sure what to do at the moment as my local town of barnsley is "heaving" on a wednesday as it is student night with lots of 3-4-1 offers is blackpool the same ? thanks,sean.

    Any where decent will be packed for valentines, stay home, buy a bottle of champagne, sexy underwear, good chocolates & strawberries - you can have all sorts of fun, save money & i guarantee your boyfriend will prefer it. a nice fresh pizza or similar to chuck in the oven for after-sex munchies is a good idea too!
