Planning a trip to the Loire. Will be staying in Amboise and would like to spend a full day in Tours. So; 3 questions: Which would be the more scenic route to take from Amboise to Tours? Which would provide an easier access to the old town? Where do we park?
I'd be greatful i,f you can help.

Hi there - we will be driving this route in July - any idea on how long it might take and how the road is - have read lots about hairpin bends and sharp drops over the mountains. The distance is not that far but was just trying to get some practical views on how long the trip is.
Hi, I know there is a shuttle type train that goes from the airport in Lyon to the various train stations, I have used it but I do not remember how long it takes to get from the airport to Lyon Part Dieu and how frequent these transfers are. Since I will be on quite a tight schedule, travelling to Clermont Ferrand, every minute is vital to complete booking my train tickets so I really need your help, please.
I have an I Phone 4S and would like to use it in Europe. Paris is our first European country. Does anyone know if I can buy a sim for it in Paris? I really just want it for phone calls and texting in Europe and to Australia. Can this be purchased at the Airport? We are also travelling to Italy and Greece so would like to use it everywhere we go. Any suggestions on companies to use and where to purchase.
We'll be in St. Laurent-du-var this fall for a month and would like to travel to Cahors for a few days. I think the closest large town would be Toulouse. Any advice on getting there - flying or by train? Length of journey and cost?
Does anyone know a way of contacting a free lance driver and van to take us around our designated route? We don't need a guide or anything. This is party of six who is not too keen on driving. The tour companies are total rip-offs.What we need is a friendly amateur who'd like to make a little money. Suggestions?
booked the tickets for 10 days in June, Marseille to Bordeaux with rented car. Its not a small distance, but we are stuck with the mountains/countryside. How much time should we dedicate to the Gorges du Tarn area, and Perigord (Noir) -Sarlat? Our itinerary will be more or less Marseille -Aix -Arles -Montpellier -Toulouse - Albi - Sarlat -.Bordeaux. What do you think? Which part is skippable, to make the rest more comfortable? Between Albi and Sarlat which one is better to stay and more interensting? Between Toulouse and Montpellier?
Thank you so much
Hello dear friends,
Am considering booking a flight on Air Méditerranée and being from Portland, Oregon (USA) I have no knowledge of this airlines. I'm trying to determine if it is a safe, reliable and somewhat comfortable airlines to fly on from MRS to Croatia.
I am travelling alone and I am arriving by bus at 4 am in Boulogne-sur-mer.
I am not getting the train until later in the day and wondered if it would be safe to walk to the train station at the time?
Or if there was a cafe someone recommended I could go to for a few hours until daylight hours, would anything be open around the train station or near place du republique or anywhere in between around this time?
