I'm going to Birmingham this weekend and need some advice. I need a hotel that's not in a bad part of town and I'd also like to go horseback riding somewhere. Then, we're going out on the town. We're pretty money-limited, so any advice will be helpful! Thanks!
I hope I caught you in time, afraid I didn't though. Any downtown hotel should be fine as well as any in Homewood. There are others, but those are the first that come to mind. If you use Priceline, choose the highest level of service and bid50. It usually gets you in the Tutwiler Hotel downtown. Rate is usually250, I think. The convention center hotel also sometimes comes up and isn't bad. As for horses, I know you can ride at Oak Mountain State Park. Don't know the cost, though. good luck!
