Is it true that the surrounding of Gatika and Zumaja is famous for its precious coastline? How can I get from Bilbao? I will stay there from 14th till 18th of February. Are there any buses at the weekend in winter? I need to see some nature. Thanks in advance.
Gatika(basque) is inland in basque country. you can see if VT has tips about these cities above in destinations. or go to the tourist office in Euskadi Basque country here tourism.euskadi.net/en/towns... Zumaja is Spanish, been basque it is written Zumaia, here is again the tourist office. this is beautiful coastal area. tourism.euskadi.net/en/towns... you have each city link above sites, the bus is available from Bilbao on the A 316 bilbao mungia and then change bus on the A3531 to Gatika, all is here apli.bizkaia.net/apps/danok/... go left column to municipio de Bizkaia in both DESDE and HASTA, go down the selection of cities until you hit the ones you are going, highlighted them and then hit CONSULTA When I am in the area I go by car, but the above should help you Cheers
