where to buy chains

by sdbear Online Now Jan 3, 2005 at 1:45 PM

I was hoping that someone could tell me where to buy chains in San Diego. I live in Rancho Bernardo and am heading up to Big Bear on Wednesday. Thanks.

I purchased tire chains in the San Diego area by calling around to local autoparts stores (see below). It's necessary to have the exact size of your tires so they can check for tire chain size and availablity . A store can often time check around with their other stores for you if they don't have them in stock. Have fun at Bear , wish I could go skiing but work gets in the way. I recommend The Crypt for chains: they also have a complete line of whips and learther wear.
